Sometimes, we call to let HOAs and property managers know that your community is due for regular deck inspection, and they don&#8217;t believe it is necessary.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s understandable, since it\u2019s hard to believe a deck surface that looks fine might need service\u2026but that\u2019s the whole point\u2026you want to reseal your decks before cracks or holes can allow water to penetrate and cause damage\u2026 and heartache.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the rule of thumb? Inspect balconies and walkways every 2 years, and reseal every 3 years. Easy.
