Industrial Floor Coatings
When it comes to an industrial setting, ordinary floors very often simply will not stand up to the demands which are placed on them. Concrete floors can easily chip, crack, buckle or stain. Vinyl flooring is prone to streaking and scratching, their color will often fade over time, and they are prone to damage from high temperatures.
Fortunately, better solutions are available. At WICR, Inc., we have been serving industrial, commercial, and residential clients for more than 30 years, and we have installed more than 5 million square feet of waterproof coating in Los Angeles County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Kern County, San Diego County, and the surrounding areas. Where can we install industrial coating?
WICR, Inc., can assist you with any one of a number of different types of industrial coatings for use in:
- Food processing plants
- Retail Stores
- We also provide industrial coatings for medical labs, hospitals and operating rooms, pharmaceutical labs, clean rooms, and in other locations.
Advantages of Industrial Floor Coatings
You need a surface that is extremely wear-resistant and that will stand the test of time, such as a polyurethane or epoxy coating. Such floor surfaces can be applied as a seamless membrane, and they have certain advantages, including resistance to thermal shock, high-temperature, chemicals, impacts and stains.
When we install an industrial floor coating using a product such as Dex-O-Tex, we do not cut any corners in our efforts to ensure that it is prepared to perform according to the needs of our customer. This often includes installing a coved base to join the floor with the base of the wall, both to protect the wall and to provide a more aesthetic appearance.
Another advantage of industrial coatings as opposed to concrete is that it allows us to work with our customer to select patterns and colors that can make an enormous difference in the visual aesthetic of the building. In addition, such coatings are fast-curing, meaning that we can get in and out in a short period of time so that your floor coating installation does not have to seriously disrupt your normal operations.
